Basset Hound 8x10 oil painting on stretched canvas Animals
A lady at the barn once hosted abandoned Basset hound adoptions. She would foster some of the sickest and most distressed bassets available. Even in their condition they delighted all with their wagging rears attached to their large flopping tails. Loving personalities and soulful gazes. Love the Basset!

Tender moment 16x20 oil on stretched canvas
This painting is depicted from a famous photograph which resides in the historical museum by a Mrs. Cones (a national award winning photographer who resided in Loveland, Ohio in the early 1900's. My inspiration was the pure quality of the lighting and compositional images.
